I’m looking to rebuild my strut assemblies and need part numbers for the 2 o-rings necessary to rebuild the cylinder. Does anyone have part numbers for the o-rings. Univar will only provide compl cylinders. Thanks.

Scott as I recall I purchased quad rings from McMaster Carr industrial supply. I MAY have some extra in my stash of supplies. If you have not yet acquired the o rings, I can see if I still have some and I can send them to you.I’m looking to rebuild my strut assemblies and need part numbers for the 2 o-rings necessary to rebuild the cylinder. Bret, that would be wonderful if you have extra seals! I really appreciate your help here! I’m a newby with the forum so I hope this gets to you. Have you found the instructions on the Internet for rebuilding the struts? http://www.hangar9aeroworks.com/Stinson Tech Info/Stinson Shock Strut Overhaul/Stinson Shock Strut Overhaul.html
This web site contains some valuable information.
I hope this helps.

I did! It was very helpful. Fortunately, my struts look to be in fairly good shape but since I have the plane completely stripped down, I thought I would go ahead and replace the seals. My luck would be if I didn’t, the cylinders would leak after I finished the plane.Scott:
OK - I will go out into the hangar in the morning. It is 105F in Kansas today and just came in to take a shower. So will look in the morning when it gets down to 90F!
Did you get a chance to review the information on the web link?
Thanks!
