• So the ISC site and Forum are seperate software that use a bridge. First log into the ISC site, then when you click the FORUM link, the bridge passes your login info to the Forum. Dont logOUT of the forum, just close the window.

I’m looking to rebuild my strut assemblies and need part numbers for the 2 o-rings necessary to rebuild the cylinder. Does anyone have part numbers for the o-rings. Univar will only provide compl cylinders. Thanks.
 
For the landing gear strut cylinders, quad rings are typically recommended for better sealing of the moving shaft. I used regular o-rings for the cylinder case end caps.
Quad-Ring: QR-4325: 1.500 x 1.875 x 0.188 in
O-Ring: 568-331: 2.250 x 2.625 x 0.188 in

Scott as I recall I purchased quad rings from McMaster Carr industrial supply. I MAY have some extra in my stash of supplies. If you have not yet acquired the o rings, I can see if I still have some and I can send them to you.

OK - I will go out into the hangar in the morning. It is 105F in Kansas today and just came in to take a shower. So will look in the morning when it gets down to 90F! o_O

I did! It was very helpful. Fortunately, my struts look to be in fairly good shape but since I have the plane completely stripped down, I thought I would go ahead and replace the seals. My luck would be if I didn’t, the cylinders would leak after I finished the plane.
